The R2 Standard (Responsible Recycling) is a set of environmental, health, safety, and data security practices designed for electronics refurbishers and recyclers. Developed by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), it establishes guidelines to ensure safe, responsible processing of used electronics, promoting safe disposal, reuse, and recycling of e-waste.

Companies that follow the R2 Standard must meet strict requirements, ensuring that they manage electronic waste responsibly and protect the environment, as well as the health and safety of workers and the community.
